For the last hour of the day, every Wednesday, the students have been hard at work on their passion projects. Each of them developed an inquiry question on a topic of their choice. The grade 5/6 class is covering a wide range of subjects. They spent as much time as needed researching their answers. After their research was done, the students chose a format to present and share their findings.
Here are some examples of their hard work.

“Essential Questions are structured as open-ended inquiries that do not have an obvious, simple, or specific answer. In fact, a person’s response to a question may change over time as his or her understanding of the topic or issue expands, illustrating the fluid and evolving nature of knowledge.”
